Justice G.I ULOKO (Rtd), died today at a hospital in Nigeria, after a long battle with cancer which he eventually won, but had a side effect of heart failure. He was a chief judge of Plateau State, hailing from Utonkon, Benue State. In 2012 he was appointed chief commissioner of public complaints commission (ombudsman) Nigeria.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) have been directed to maintain the status quo by the Federal High Court in Warri, Delta State, which has stopped the implementation of the tinted glass permit policy.
