What Ifa Says in Ogbe Ate

In Ogbe Ate, Ifa says everybody should do Itefa (Ifa initiation) to know one’s mission on earth, one’s destiny and in order to have all good things of life.

A ki i ji ni kutukutu/ Ka ma modu to dani saye/ Dia fun Olupo Alaelu/ Eyi ti i feyin ti/ To n fekun se-rahun ire gbogbo/ Eyi tile aye ni lara koko bi ota/ Won ni ebo ni ko se/ Ko si lo re e tefa/ O gbebo o rubo/ Ko pe ko jinna/ Ire gbogbo wa yade tuuru tuuru/ Ifa de Alase/ Ope Abise wara,

It is not good for one to start life/ Without knowing the Odu that brought one to the world/ Di-vined for Olupo Alaelu/ Who worried/ And crying for his inability to be successful in life/ Not get-ting all goods of life/ His life was too hard for comfort/ He was advised to offer sacrifice/ And to do Ifa initiation/ He complied/ Before long/ All good things of life became his lots/ Ifa the embodiment of Ase is there/ Ope which predictions must come to pass.
Blessings of Irunmole on all. Baba Olosun.
