Photos: Gun-wielding ‘Nuns’ Tried To Rob A Bank

A couple of clergy cloth-clad women are currently on the run after they allegedly tried to hit up a bank in Tannersville, Pennsylvania early Monday afternoon. Dressed in black and white nun outfits, the would-be robbers entered a Citizens Bank branch while openly displaying a handgun, 69 News reports.

However, investigators say the women apparently got scared off before they could get any money, the commandment-breaking crooks possibly believing a teller triggered a panic alarm.

There were no injuries while the FBI has taken over the investigation from the Pocono Township Police Department.
