For a few, Kemi Afolabi’s announcement may be the first time they’d hear of the illness called Lupus.  As new as it can certainly sound, lupus is a common disease in Nigeria with over 100,000 cases diagnosed annually, based on the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
