Ghanaian Employer And His Daughter Killed In Ondo By Guards

The Ondo State Police Command have arrested two security guards identified as Ayuba Idris and Taisu Abubakar, who killed their Ghanaian employer and his daughter over 3-months unpaid salary. The state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Undie Adie who paraded the suspects, said they were arrested for killing Kwakye Kwaku Richard, 71, and his daughter Kwakye Tope, 27, in Akure, Ondo State, right after one Mr. Ojo Adegbusuyi reported the incident to the state police command.

According to Adie, among the security guards, 20-year-old Ayuba Idris who killed his Ghanaian employer and his daughter, was arrested in Kano State on May 16, 2019. The handset of the deceased person and his suits were recovered from him, and upon interrogation, he confessed he and his partner named Taisu Abubakar killed their employer. On May 28, 2019, he explained, detectives also tracked down one other suspect, Taisu Abubakar in Sokoto State and among the deceased’s laptop computers and some clothes were recovered from him. Upon interrogation, they confessed to the murder of the victims when he refused to pay their 3 months’salary arrears.
