Muslims in Nigeria will join their foreign counterparts for the yearly Ramadan fast after the declaration of moon-locating. It is a month of day break to-sunset fasting, serious prayer to Eledumare and daily devours also called iftar.
Tending to newsmen in his castle, the Sultan expressed that, Thursday June 18, denote the start of Ramadan 1436 A.H, asking Muslims to use the 29 or 30-day period to offer prayer to God for peace and improvement of the nation.
