Registration & Permanent Voter Card Distribution begins in 13 States

To be able to vote in the February 14, 2015 election , you must be registered to vote and grab your Permanent Voter Card (PVC). If your home is in one of many 13 states listed below or have friends or family who do, there’s some important info you’ll need to know.

Affected States:

Adamawa, Borno, Edo, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Plateau and Rivers

Dates to Know:

Friday 7 November – Sunday 9 November: INEC will be distributing Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to voters who have already registered

Thursday 13 November – Monday 17 November: INEC will be conducting Continuous Voter Registration

How to Register or Collect Your PVC:

You do both these activities at your registration area centre. To find your registration area centre, go to the INEC website or call INEC at 0700-CALL-INEC

If you live in one of the affected states, please take this opportunity to register and pick-up your PVC, without doing this you can’t vote.
