Boy Falls From The 23rd Floor In A Failed Stunt Trying To Impress A Girl

A Russian boy, Alexander Shadrin, 16, fell 23 floors (230 feet) from a high rise balcony after a macho stunt to ‘impress a girl’ – but survived after landing on the roof of a parked Renault taxi. He was conscious when paramedics arrived.
He had climbed over the railing of the balcony at his home in Novosibirsk, Siberia, to prove his bravado to a female friend, said eyewitnesses. He suffered ‘serious injuries’ but is stable in intensive care, said the Siberian Times.
“He climbed over the balcony rails, clung on for sometime, but then couldn’t hang on any longer, and fell onto a car parked below,” said the Novosibirsk branch of the Investigative Committee, Russian equivalent of the FBI.
