If a child of a Benevolent is about to fall into a pit due to darkness,
Divine light will appear to aid his vision and rescue him/her from the grave.
An inccident happened several years ago to me. I was posted to Bendel
state of Nigeria to do my National Youth Service in 1983. At the headquaters
of the state NYSC was an officer whom we learnt was posting Lagos state
graduates to rural areas which we found not condusive because too many mosquitoes and dangerous reptiles were every where which Lagos residents were not used to.
29 graduates had already been given letters to such places before my turn
to be interviewed. When the man saw my name, he asked, ‘which Agboola
is yours? I told him. He said, ‘do you mean you are the son of Chief Akano
Fasina Agboola, then Awise of Lagos, who eventually became Araba of Lagos
in 1984?. I answered Yes. He said, ‘your father is my benefactor. He helped
me to this position I am occupying’. Then he asked, ‘where do you want to go?
I told him I prefer to stay in Benin city, the capital of Bendel state. My colleagues
thought I must have been given a letter by a Government functionary.
What do you think the man would have done if he had known my father in a
different form? Please let us do good for the sake of our children.
Stay blessed.
From Araba of Oworonsoki land, Lagos Nigeria.
