AN UPDATE Got this local at 14000 per bag yesterday at Trade Fair, Lagos, but the cost isn’t encouraging yet and the only method to lessen the cost is for every state farmers to bring theirs into the marketplace, the very best they could produce because when the marketplace is competitive, the cost will forcefully go down. Secondly, the ministry of Agriculture should introduce an annual program which is tagged THE RICE FESTIVAL/CARNIVAL, that’s another way we could showcase the entire world our talents.
