Saglev begins assembling electric cars at its Assembly Plant in Ikorodu Lagos.

American electric vehicle manufacturer, Saglev, has begun assembling electric cars at its assembly plant in Ikorodu, Lagos.
This milestone was announced via a video shared by the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on Thursday, June 27.

In accordance with Saglev’s Chief Executive Officer, Sam Faleye, the electric vehicles can cover an extraordinary 300km at about the same charge, comparable to driving from Oshodi to Ajah in Lagos 10 times.
Faleye also highlighted the ease of charging these vehicles, which only requires a couple of times weekly, with the full charge taking approximately four hours utilizing a level two charger.

The caption reads: “It is fantastic to see #saglev has commenced the production of electric cars at its state-of-the-art assembly plant in Ikorodu, Lagos.”
