4. Boredom.
It is very easy to fall into the boredom trap. It is a slippery entanglement, one that quietly crawls up on you and strikes quickly in the night. You get up one morning in a sweat pondering what the heck your life is about. Everything looks dim and this matches your feeling. Life has an aftertaste like fiery debris and you thirst for something, anything, to wash away the vapid rottenness in your mouth and soul. Welcome to boredom and apathy.
It appears that Homo sapiens have a requirement for curiosity that is hard-wired into us. Who knew? I thought there was some kind of problem with me. Not that I get exhausted all the time, but rather it does happen. Where it can be an issue is the point at which you get exhausted with your partner. Unless both of you have been cognizant and effectively occupied with keeping your relationship alive, you will get exhausted with him or her sooner or later. It’s natural, so don’t fight it. Recognize it with your accomplice and look to how you can return some excitement to your relationship and life.
