Sherrif agrees to refund N40m

EFCC, has filed a 17-count charge against Femi Fani-Kayode over an alleged 1.5 billion Naira fraud and 17 witnesses have been listed to testify against him. Also, the embattled National Chairman of PDP, Ali Modu Sheriff, has undertaken to refund N40m.

The amount is what he allegedly benefited from out of the N24.29bn election found facilitated by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke. Sheriff was grilled for about seven and a half hours yesterday, by the EFCC. He allegedly admitted receiving the cash and promised to return it as soon as possible…. wt 50% interest….
