More government authorities on Thursday trooped to the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to express their solidarity with President Goodluck Jonathan, two days after he lost his re-election offer.
The individuals who met the President in his office included clergymen, heads of government offices and Peoples Democratic Party boss.
Others are Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State; Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State and Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
While Akpabio and Suswam met the President in his office, Lamido met Jonathan inside his office residence at night.
The senator arrived when the President was breaking his fast with some pastors, who were driven by his Chaplain, Ven. Obioma Onwuzurumba.
