Nigeria Among Top 2 In The World For Bitcoin Searches On Google.

Nigeria came second behind El Salvador in Google Bitcoin Searches in the world according to Google Trends live statistics.

Nigeria’s rise to the top of bitcoin search rankings may be attributed to the growing utility of crypto in Nigeria. The report also explains that country’s youth have been the decisive force behind this surge in bitcoin searches.
In the meantime, the Google Trends data also shows that two more African countries, namely South Africa (2) and Ghana (5), make it into the top five of the rankings. The next highest-ranked African country to feature on the list is Kenya at number 14.

Since Bitcoin became legal tender in El Salvador in September 2021, the Central American nation has shown its unwavering support for the crypto space despite calls to hold its horses by organizations like the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
