Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Set To Take A New Wife

According to reports, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has separated from his ex-wife Naomi Ogunwusi and married a wealthy woman.

Online sources state that Mariam Anako, an oil and gas professional from Kogi State, will marry the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

According to Kemi Ashefon, Ooni’s rumored new wife has pledged to be the monarch’s final wife.

Mariam Anako, a NestOlil employee, is a Kogi State native of the Ebira ethnic group and she is alleged to have provided the Ooni with enormous assistance, which must have won his favor.

The report stated that the new wife has not yet entered the palace, but Ooni has not made an official comment about it.

The split of Ooni of Ife and Queen Naomi Silekunola, which shocked many Nigerians, is the subject of this report.

When she renounced her name and position as the Queen of Ife a few months ago, Queen Naomi stunned the supporters of the Ife royal family.

When the stunning prophetess and mother of one accused the monarch of being deceitful, it sparked a variety of responses online.

In her words;

“I did my best to endure and make it work; many times, I smiled through the struggle, but I finally realised I had just one assignment, my son, and when God is done, He is done. He chose Saul to be king, and when He was done, He told the prophet Samuel I have moved on. Religion was never an issue between us; please refer to my interview on News Central TV. Instead, His Majesty has a picture he would love the world to see and perceive him as and another one which is his true self.

Today I announce the beginning of a new dawn and the close of a chapter. Today, I am a mother to God’s unique gift. I am no longer a slave to my thoughts of perfection. I, at this moment, announce that I shall no longer be referred to as wife to the Ooni of Ife or as Queen of Ile-Ife but as the Queen of the people and mother of my adorable Prince.”

Info Terrorist Posts falsely claim South African president Ignored Nigerian leader at inauguration.

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu was in South Africa in June 2024 for the second full-term swearing-in ceremony of Cyril Ramaphosa. Social media posts sharing videos from the event claimed Ramaphosa ignored Tinubu as he was greeting other dignitaries — a mark, they argued, of Nigeria’s waning reputation. But the claim is false: longer footage shows the South African leader returned to greet Tinubu and other guests after pausing moments earlier for the country’s national anthem. The pair also spoke later ...
