Kaduna bomb blast: 37 teachers Murdered – NUT president

The National President of the Nigerian Union of Teachers, Micheal Olukoya, says that 37 teachers kicked the bucket in the bomb blast that shook Sabongari in Kaduna state yesterday July seventh. The instructors were at the state secretariat to partake in the verification activity started by the administration to weed off ghost workers.

While speaking at the Founders day of the Nigerian Union of Teachers in Abuja today July 8th, Mr Olukoya said as much far, 272 teachers had lost their lives to the various Boko Haram assaults in Borno State alone and that more than 19,000 had been displaced in the North East.
