The 59-year-old politician was first elected in 2020 to represent the Ompundja constituency, receiving 85% of the popular vote.

Adolf Hitler Uunona represents the left-wing – and formerly communist – South West Africa People’s Organisation (SWAPO), which has ruled Namibia since the country gained its independence from South Africa in 1990.
