A 34-year-old South African woman shares a heart-breaking story on social media marketing after her boyfriend of 7 years married another woman on her birthday.

This is revealed in an extended post she distributed to her tens and thousands of followers on a well-known social media marketing platform, X (formerly Twitter).

In the post, she expressed that she happens to be hurting deeply after finding that her boyfriend, whom she’s been dating since 2017, recently got married to a different woman.

Revealing the incident, she wrote: “My boyfriend (ex now) of almost 7 years got married to a certain lady over my birthday weekend 2 weeks ago. I’m hurting so much right now, how he lied to me and betrayed me, and I couldn’t see past the smoke screen.”

“I’m 34 now and wondering how I’ll ever start again. He took the best part of my youth, from October 14th, 2017 until May 30th, 2024. If he knew that he would not marry me, I ask myself over and over again why did he drag me along all this while. I’m so hurt and broken, guys. I know I have to move on, and I will, but right now I’m hurting so badly.”
